The Yellow Rose Boot Scoot is an annual fundraising event with a nostalgic charm, uniting people from all walks of life to fund inflammatory breast cancer research. Set in the rustic venue of Bellville Turnverein, it will feature country music by David Lewis, encouraging guest to grab their boots (or favorite slippers!) and get out on the dance floor.
The Yellow Rose Boot Scoot is a family friendly, fun gathering. Enjoy a catered meal from the Kenney Store, craft beer from Huff Brewing Co., and hopefully win one of the fabulous raffle baskets. This event blends past traditions with a modern mission to advance medical research.

The Yellow Rose Boot Scoot is a family friendly event so bring the kids.
Make it a getaway weekend with the many things to do in the area. Stay at a hotel in Sealy or Brenham, or reserve one of the many VRBO and Airbnbs in the Bellville area.
Head out to the country Friday night and grab a drink at an honest to gosh 1900’s Historic saloon, Saddleback Saloon in Sealy. (Clint Black’s music video for the song “Killin’ Time was shot there.)
Start your day Saturday with breakfast at Tony’s Family Restaurant where you will find the largest, and best, breakfast biscuits around, all freshly made daily.
Next walk around historic downtown Sealy and take advantage of the murals around town for photo ops. Shop the boutiques and antique stores in the area.
Take a kid friendly break at the Gordon Memorial Library (Sat hours 9 am to noon)
Drive into Bellville for lunch at The Gathery Coffee & Eat House then talk a walk around town. Here you will find antique stores, boutiques and art galleries! Enjoy horseback riding at Dry Creek Stables, take a tour of Newman’s Castle (an actual castle!), and tour the Austin County Jail Museum.
Stehpen F. Austin State Park is on the banks of the Brazos River and a great place for a picnic or hiking.
Saturday evening join us at the Bellville Turnverein for the Yellow Rose Boot Scoot catered by The Kenney Store and music by Daivd Lewis.
Sunday join Calvin and Terry Arnold at 11:00 am at The Kenney Store for brunch, and more music.
